Vancouver Canucks Pre-Game Show

The lights drop. Eighteen thousand voices fall to a hush. And then the ice begins to breathe. Commissioned for the entire 2025–2026 campaign, Suprematist Creative reimagined the Vancouver Canucks pre-game ritual as a full-rink projection spectacle — a three-minute surge of light, energy, and motion mapped edge-to-edge across the frozen canvas of Rogers Arena. It opens with a single spark. Laser beams strike the ice and the rink ignites — surfaces charging, lines pulsing, the whole sheet powering up like a reactor coming online. The arena floor warps, accelerates, and tears open into a hyperspace portal, pulling the crowd through the void at light-speed. The journey crescendos as a colossal Canucks player emerges from the depths of outer space, hurtling toward the audience to deliver the official puck of the 2025–2026 season — the cue that home-ice hockey is about to begin.

Built for the heart of downtown Vancouver's Rogers Arena and engineered to fill every inch of NHL regulation ice, the show runs at every Canucks home game across the full season. Performed night after night beneath a packed house of nearly 19,000, it's projected to electrify a cumulative live audience of over one million fans before the final whistle of the year. Not a graphic on a jumbotron. Not a light cue. A cinematic origin story, told on the ice itself — and witnessed in person, in the dark, by an entire city.
