Chtivo Festival

Some festivals are about music, some about stories — Chtivo went for both. Founded by writer Sergey Minaev, the event wrapped up Moscow’s last weekend of summer with plenty of stories (the word Chtivo literally means “reading material”) — and two stages dedicated to music. The main stage, Music, brought in beloved artists, while Sound gave space to new voices and rising acts.
As the team behind visuals for both music stages, we handled everything from content creation and supporting graphics to integrating livestreams and even a touch of live VJing. With the main stage built as a giant open book, we wove text-based design into our graphics — a nod to the festival’s literary theme. Words, music, and visuals all came together to connect performances with the festival’s big idea: stories are meant to be told, shared, and lived.
